Urban Mobility Observatories: Demystifying technical aspects of urban mobility observatories

Показать описание
This webinar on Urban Mobility Observatories will be organised in 3 technical sections, with a time devoted to discussion at the end of each part.
The first session will focus on the technical architecture of the platform. You will discover the underlying technologies, our manufacturing secrets to magnify the data in this observatory combining cartography and data visualisation. The genericity of the developments and the replicable nature of the application will be highlighted.
During the second section, we will discuss the resources needed to implement the application in another territory. We will explain the opportunities around the open-source development model.
Finally, we will focus on access to geospatial data in a growing open data movement. You will learn how to search for mobility data on Open data portals, notably OpenStreetMap, but not only. And as a bonus, you can view them using GIS software, open source of course.
At the end of this webinar, you will have an overview of the work carried out around this observatory. You will have the information to take advantage of and contribute to this open-source project. The search for geospatial data will have no more secrets for you and will allow you to initiate your urban mobility observatory project on the scale of your territory.
