What could be better than marrying your loved one?

Marry your loved one again.

Today I was in Borås, Sweden, for a marriage between Johanna and Simon - who got married for the second (!) Time.

Five years had passed since they "officially" got married. For five long years, however, there was something missing, the icing on the cake - the ceremony.

At 10 o'clock in the morning, my day began when I met Johanna and Simon at Yxhammargården, where they had spent the night together. On the villa just mentioned, various preparations were made for what was to come. Preparations that included that the bride's sister managed to lose an entire refrigerator.

When the preparations were completed, it was off with the couple's children to Annelundsparken for both a first look and family photography. An opportunity they also used to read out their vows to each other.
When the vows were read, the tears dried, the children had been picked up by relatives - and the couple themselves felt ready, so we went on to photograph the two. This photography took place at Ryssby Klint - a lookout point with a view of the city of Borås.

When photographing at such a height, you as a photographer do not always have the decision in your own hands - which we noticed this time in the form of a relatively strong wind, which in turn resulted in Johanna's veil living its own life. Despite this, both the photographer and the couple were satisfied with the pictures.

House of the Senses - yes, that was the place for the wedding. A wedding that was planned to take place outdoors, but due to the weather forecast for the day was moved inside. A church just over 100 years old, where events of all kinds are now organized. The undersigned would like to call the building mythical, mysterious and cozy. No, now I'm crawling, of course..again. You see in the film how beautiful it is. Something else you see in the film is the wedding itself - oh my! Beautiful was the word!

When our friends said yes to each other for the second time in their lives, it was time for a little mingling in the garden - and there you may think something unexpected happened.
With all eyes on her, the newlywed Johanna takes the bouquet in her hand and ... gives it to her toast madame. Half dumbfounded, she turns around, and there he stands - her soon to be - down on his knees with a ring in his hand.

Now, that was something else! Maybe we can follow their journey towards duality here in the future?

However, this was still Johanna and Simon's day - and it was for them we had all gathered.

With sparklers in hand, the guests were ready to welcome the couple with a traditional breakthrough - before the party broke loose properly with a saxophone-playing DJ.

Every now and then, the undersigned's day also ended.

For me, it was a great honor to film and immortalize Johanna and Simon's wedding part two - the "real" wedding.
