Is there any reason to dismiss the existance of Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis? It's never mentioned in any video despite it's quality and I just find it weird that it being the current best anime MMO on the market, it's never mentioned as an alternative.
Is there any reason? Just curious.

This game is gonna have to completely wow me. After the many delays and the censorship for the NA version plus the negative comments from the Japanese community about this game, I honestly have zero faith in this game at the moment.

i might play this game. Only if there is a patch released by players to undo any Amazon censorship.

Would've been nice if you talked about some changes they did over last couple months. Like combat changes increased 4 skill to 8 skill. Skill cooldowns are reduced drastically. New end-game contents, new enchantment system for weapon and echoes, more diverse skins(themes) and they are changing Gacha shop based on player feedback(like increasing chances). Game itself is way more enjoyable compared to release and it is currently one of the most popular mmorpg in JP. Can't wait for Western version after JP players finish their beta-testing like Lost Ark Korean players did.

Since console version of JP dropped like a month ago and they have cross-save, it is safe to assume Global will also have it(0 reason to not have cross-save since their goal is one merged mega server). Also another important fact is Western test was on 1 merged server(Eu/Na). You can see it on their after test post. also Mobile is completely another version just like you said.

Very bland and safe outfit design and general aesthetic, I guess no major loss on the delays, I can see why they went with amazon as a publisher, maybe it will do better in the west since the playerbase is more into this type of bland aesthetic.

The overlap of people who would have to make a choice between T&L and BP is so small it's not a real issue. However, ANY gain is a worthwhile gain to corporate stooges, so the more we keep assuming that 1 company releasing 2 games at the same time who only share a genre in common, and virtually nothing else; the more we can expect them to delay releases for no real reason and we can blame ourselves for it. In my opinion, that is.

I didn't look into blue protocol for almost 6 months because everything for world release was tba. And i was exited to check in on it, to only find out it's still tba, lol

Was gonna give a shot but after they bluntly showed and said we are censoring the crap outta the NA version; my decision flat out says nah I’m good tower of fantasy of better and that’s saying something. AND there’s always the underrated MMO PSO2 original/ New Genesis
