I told my mom about me wanting to be a Personal Trainer and at first she seemed very supportive. Then she said " Yeah you can have that as a side job. You know, after you find a real job that gives you benefits" Like NO. I want to own my own personal training business and work for myself. I don't want to be working in a job I hate all my life. I'm only 15 and I'm telling you I WILL become a great and successful personal trainer one day. Y’all can count on that.

I have the nasm certification. I've applied to a few gyms and I havent hears back from none of them. At this point I'm just going to do it myself and teach myself the ins and outs. I'm tired of people not seeing my worth and not taking me seriously. I want this to be part of my future and if no one believes in me..I'll just have to show I can do it myself!

Halfway to get certified. This is some topics that my teachers dont mention. I get that we should be respectful to all humans, but like you said.. I would much rather hire a trainer that I first of all vibe with, stay in shape (that you can see is healthy), smiling and are humble, interested in me and want to help me as a person. I would also add that merely getting a certification doesn't mean said trainer knows the proper movements.

Totally agree with hygiene, and looking the part, if you don't do it yourself don't try teach people. Look and live the part to motivate your clients

I’m a full time electrician, I love my job, but only thing I enjoy is working out and training my friend for free, and seeing the results of him losing allot of weight. I want to get to personal trainer certification

Love the video! Love the point you make about keeping your body in shape. You lead by example. You can't be trying to tell somebody about being healthy and working out when you're not practicing what you're preaching! Love the content. I'm studying for my Health Coach Certification right now and then I plan on doing Personal Training. Keep doing what you doing man!

This business is superficial as hell. I've had interviews with gyms that owners say it goes great over phone and they have told me if I am fit and bring in the certification I can sign up. Also alot of corporate gyms won't accept certain certifications or if they do no matter your experience you start as a level 1 trainer. I got a ISSA cert and since its not "ncca accredited" no matter my 2 years experience i can't be a level 2 trainer. This business is tough guys
