Music of the Moody Blues:

And you can fly
High as a kite if you want to
Faster than light if you want to
Speeding through the universe
Thinking is the best way to travel

It's all a dream
Light passing by on the screen
And there's you and I on the beam
Speeding through the universe
Thinking is the best way to travel

We ride the waves
Distance is gone, will we find out?
How life bean, will be find out?
Speeding through the universe
Thinking is the best way to travel

And you can fly
High as a kite if you want to
Faster than light if you want to
Speeding through the universe
Thinking is the best way to travel

I have tripped on their music since the 70s. It is still unequalled.

These men are SOOO Ahead of their Time !! Artists, poets Visionaries before our time. The words in this tune allow you to 'SEE' time travel and understand all of Hawking's Math proofs. I heard this once, months ago, on a Denver radio station, traveling West on Bellview, toward Santa Fe @ Half Moon. Everyone has had spirit experiences with this song.

One of my all-time favorite Moody songs. In 1973 and 74 my long-haired hippie boyfriend would play these albums for me. Especially this song was one of our favorites. We were very well matched. He was a psychology student earning his first degree of many. I was a beautiful hippie girl from California, and we would sit on the rug in his mother's living room in the dark, and we would talk and get to know one another. He would always give me his undivided attention, and listen to me. Tell him of California, and my free school, and Yosemite. And I hinted at the UFOs I saw. How I wish I could go back. He thought I was the best thing in the whole world. I wish I could go back in time. I would have the two men that loved me most my father and him.

the part in this song where the music goes from one speaker to the other and then seems to surround you is SO cool.

I'm in my late 60's now. I was in my early teens, eating my packed lunch at the home of a classmate. His older sister was playing this on what was then known as a stereogram... and, looking back, it was one of those moments that changed the course of my life. For the better, I think.

I used to love listening to 'In Search Of The Lost Chord' (back when many classic and prog rock albums were like mini-Odysseys from the first note on the opening track to the final song's fade out). I'd lie back with earphones on, tripping on the beautiful arrangements. Long before I was ever under a drug's influence, I got high on this music itself.

I have been lucky enough to see them in concert twice,
many moons ago.

This is awesome.

Get the vinyl of this.
Grab headphones.
Put them on.
Drop the needle.
Lie down.
Go bye bye while a helicopter and a satellite chase one another around inside your skull.
Nothing before or since can compare.

You have to go, to see them in person is an experience you will not forget.
You have an amazing grasp of their music already, it manifests itself in your
video's. Just think how seeing them in person will add to the ambiance of
your creations.

Amazing song. Love the melody. And the acoustic guitars at the end are really trippy.

They played this on the radio the day that Ray Bradbury died (June 5 2012); I think this is correctly describes his work, a correct tribute; Thinking is the best way to travel.

Good job with this vid. I like to imagine the Moodies would approve. RIP, Ray Thomas. Miss you, man.
