The weight is extremely helpful for high speed street driving, with out aero tricks lighter cars start to float and lift w bumps. I have a hellcat manual transmission, the biggest problem I have is w people trying to turn them into drag cars, the redeye and demon are the drag cars, the regular hellcat is a grand touring car. I hate the gas consumption, I hate the tire consumption, I positively hate the maintenance cost, 550 for front pads, w out install, 1k for a rotor etc. I hate that it's constantly compared to pony cars, it is a full size car, the room for passengers and cargo aren't even close. That's the bad list, that being said I absolutely love my hellcat I will never get rid of it and I daily drive it, everything I do it takes me regardless of weather. My last comment has to do w those who buy them. No one who doesn't possess the skills to drift a car should have one, it will spin the tires at 100 mph, being comfortable and capable w your backend sliding around should be a prerequisite. If you aren't capable and comfortable driving it around not only in track but w all traction and stability systems off, you shouldn't have it.

Dodge isn’t trying to give people a sports car, they’re trying to give people a affordable but fast fun car so needles to say if you start adding more high end options that just makes the car too expensive than it should be. People drive these cars daily so sports seats would not be comfortable especially since they don’t allow for some features. It’s especially not meant for taking corners otherwise they’d add advanced aerodynamics. The car is meant to go straight, and besides if you don’t like something about the car you can always take it to west coast customs if you got the money they’ll put things in the car you want.
