I'm surprised there hasn't been a movie that incorporates all the main characters from Shakespeare's plays, hath thou wouldt have been called th'Avengers.

Best thing about this adaptation is how much their creators trusted and respected the original source, even if in the end it meant pushing big audiences away

I can't believe this wasn't nominated for any Oscars!! This was WAY better than almost every movie that is nominated for best picture.

Wow, thats some superb cinematography going on there. This film has great reviews so far, so maybe its a must see. And fyi the director and the casts are the ones doing the assassin's creed movie.

Michael Fassbender completely gained my respect as an actor after that final scene in The Counselor.

The cinematographer is Adam Arkapaw who played a huge part in True Detective's success and fame. He took the famous "Six minute single take tracking shot" which won him an Emmy award.. Now it's time for him to least get an Oscar nomination for this beautiful cinematography :)

I took drama classes in school and we actually performed Macbeth ... It's so interesting to see the story on the big screen performed by real actors but I can't help but laugh when I think about the fact that I played the same role as freaking Micheal Fassbender! (I'm a girl btw, we were short on men in the drama club 😂)

I live right next to that castle at 0:42 in Bamburgh, England. I didn't even know Michael flipping Fassbender was staying here!

Finally saw it last night. A very unique and visceral experience, the language is obviously a slight barrier but it was a phenomenal piece nevertheless.

I will never understand why this movie wasn’t bigger than it was. Not to say people didn’t like it, but I don’t hear it mentioned by really anyone

The cinematographer is an Aussie named Adam Aarkapaw
Let's hope the complete movie is as good as the trailer makes it appear

I don't understand why people here are saying stuff like "i hope this is good"!

Are you aware of the story of Macbeth? How it has been performed and read numerous times through history, and we now have a film for our times instead of the boring adaptation-movies we would see in high school english class!
