I love when the rebound launches me 10 feet over the landing.

Im gonna be honest the fox recommendations are really good for a start point to work off of if you do more normal trail riding keep the pressure and maybe go a bit faster in rebound and if you’re hitting big jumps slow the rebound down a bit but the pressure is usually pretty ok but if you’re riding and see you aren’t using full travel or are using too much pump it up or let some air out

The fox recommendations are pretty great for casual riders but its a good starting point if you want to adjust the bike to yourself

It's not really a red flag but you have to set your settings, most of these are adjustable.

My rear shock doesn't rebound at all 😂 only when all my weight is off of it

Also make sure the mounting hardware is tight! You don't want to learn the hard way haha

The shock may have bottomed out ONCE over the duration of a ride. Where the rubber ring is located on the shock piston is not a red flag. It's just an indicator that you need to consider changing your setup. If it only bottomed out the one time, there may be no adjustment necessary. But... Whatever gets the views...

Personal, y, I love a stiff fork as it helps me get through gnarlier jumps easier cause I can keep speed better!

I feel like "fork too stiff" has a place. I'm on a short travel bike and I rarely get full travel out of the fork, but the feel is balanced which I think is important... that said I would love a more supple fork, I just get bucked like crazy when I soften it up. 120/140 is a trap.

You shouldn't change your suspension set up for the trail. Its should be the same all the time. So not using all your suspension is fine.

The back end of my bike passed up the front going down a hill once, something about rebound indifference 😂

Is it actually bad, if you don't bottom out? I thought it was bad, so i got my suspension more stiff (normal bike, wish i had an enduro )

Well, I don't have an o-ring in my rear suspension.

Crazy 10 second video that taught me just about everything that I wanted to know about setting up the suspension on a MTB, well done!
