My family lives in A Coruña, and I love it there. One thing, A Coruña is the Galician name and La Coruña is Spanish. If you’re ever back in A Coruña you must visit Santiago de Compostela and go hiking in some of the most beautiful places. Don’t miss visiting La playa de Mera and Bastiagueiro in the Oleiros suburb of A Coruña….its gorgeous there. The aquarium next to Torre de Hercules is well worth a visit, as well as the Casa de Picasso, El Domus museum and the Museum of Art—so worth it. The Rosalia Theatre in the old town has wonderful performances, and the Riazor Stadium for soccer. Make sure you try visiting the many light houses on the coast and finish at Finisterre…an absolutely gorgeous place. There’s so much……❤️

First of all, thank you for visiting. A Coruña has a rich history. For example, we have three cemeteries dedicated to those who tried to invade us. However, it's not the most touristy place in the world, and we're grateful because, thanks to this, it's a great place to live.

Regarding Cervecería La Estrella, the great advantage is that the beer is freshly brewed that same day at the brewery, so if you like beer, you can experience one of the most expertly rated beers, Estrella Galicia, fresher than in any bar in the world.

Going there with a cruise, I love to discover spot on local places to visit in a day, where and what to have like tapas, drinks and desserts. Any suggestions please?

In Spain the form "La Coruña" is an attempt to translate the article to castillian.
The article "La" in castilian is "A" in gallego, so the confusion comes from there.
As you said the correct form is "A Coruña" because it´s the way the city it´s called in Gallego.
Remember that Spain has 4 official languages.

Hmmm, no. "A Coruña" is the galician language name as "A" is the feminine indefinite article. "La Coruña" is the Spanish language name as "la" is the feminine indefinite article in that language.

Vigo is nice but the whole coast of Vigo is just a big dump with industry and rusty infrastructure. While in A Coruña the industrial is kept in one place remote from the beaches.

Im from Coruña and im glad that you highlighted the not so outstanding parts as well, the people from here may say that there is no city like a coruña but of course we do not dare to say some of the ugly parts of the city that you mentioned. Nevertheless, thanks for the great video!!

Okay, I need to comment just before the first minute of this video is through.
"A" in Galician is an article, the equivalent for Spanish "La".
Having said that, let me proceed to the rest of the video.

"Vigo doesn't even come close to A Coruña, which is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Vigo is a city where everything is uphill and downhill, and the only decent thing it has is its port. In contrast, A Coruña is pure beauty!"
