Hey motorcyclists! What's in YOUR first aid kit?

Depending how far you might like to ride from established centers of civilization, you might need certain things in your first aid kit compared to other riders. Here is one rider's first aid kit; see what's in his kit might give you an idea as to what you might want to have in yours.

The benefit of an assembled kit like this is having everything you might need in one place, without having to guess or find a source for one thing you want. A minimalist FAK could contain nothing but a few adhesive bandages and some antibiotic ointment. You might not want to carry clotting agents, compression bandages and a tourniquet with you everywhere you go, after all.

When you need basic otc drugs they are either out or closed, thats my experience at least. Always keep some on hand. Crash into something hard and limbs go flying, a tourniquet sure can be handy. Just don’t out it around your neck :)

My first aid kit? Glad you asked... for minor injuries, Schnapps. For major injuries, Vodka and a hammer.
