No one talks about how many teams have already shot their load on players and trades and now have no picks to trade. So many teams have already traded all the pieces they could and fewer teams now hold most of the draft picks in existence. As a result, unless those teams are looking for a major upgrade, they aren't going to trade for anyone, especially not when Utah is looking for 4-5 picks for a guy who is barely an all star and plays about 70% of games each year before he reaches 30 years old. Lauri doesn't look like a sustainable player for another decade

I wouldn’t trade Kuminga for Lauri b/c I would want to pair him with Steph, Dray, and Lauri. They could contend with that core. But the Lauri trade isn’t worth if you have to give up Kuminga in order to get him. I would definitely trade Podz, moody, and picks to get Lauri tho. Those guys are good players with potential, but Kuminga is just a better player and a better fit with Steph and Dray imo.
