Lowering your action will get you very close to this type of tone (i don't even have new strings and you can notice the snap). This adjustment can be done if you (very carefully) use an allen wrench on the little holes in the side of each string on the bridge, caring that you do the same turns on each side. Just a couple counterclock wise tuns will do. More info on tone in description. The line mostly goes with the tonic of each chord. In this case you have only power chords in harmony of 5ths but the key implied is C Natural Minor (with some Harmonic Minor passages)

Man, you get some amazing varieties of tones out of that Washburn. I know there's some processing going on after the fact, but still- It makes me miss my Washburn. Underrated basses.
