Q8 I just recently re-installed my previously purchased q400 into P3d after a 2 year retirement and exclusive Xplane 11 time. This aircraft is visually stunning! The cockpit textures are magnificent! and are a contrast to many we see in Xplane. “Bravo” again for your streaming efforts.

I so want a Lockheat Constellation. Is Prepar3D worth buying because it should have a connie (Or as add-on for sale ?) I have a very nice pimped XPlane 11 but there is no decent (studylevel) Connie. Your Prepar3D looks great but from your XP videos I think you also have a lot invested in prepar3D addons to enhance the looks

53:50 - While I agree that X-Plane lighting on aircraft looks more realistic, since v5 with its Enhanced Atmospherics Prepar3D looks overall more realistic to me, thanks to beautiful blue haze and volumetric clouds. The only thing that makes X-Plane look similar is xEnviro.

Also, Active Sky P3D's v5.2 version has an issue, it adds a weird white haze towards horizon, which is also visible in your video. Currently the only workaround is setting maximum surface visibility and maximum upper visibility to the highest value (200 nm) - you can find them in Options --> Visibility options.

My Hydraulics PTU control doesn't turn orange for some reason can you please explain why?

Believe it or not, but autofeather is not recommended for landing as it can do more harm than good during that portion of the flight - only on takeoff, and it should be switched off basically when you do flaps up from what I have read.

thx for the video but there are some mistakes, most the bothered me is alt select usually is paired with ias, and you configired vnav yet you decended manually at -1800, just click on vnav before tod and it will automaticaly captures it all you have to do is maintaining the speed

Nice video but i'm still sticking with FSX until MSFS matures a little more with proper aircraft, I see no point in spending $$ on P3D at the moment and not impressed with the "so called" improved visuals and X-Plane is a no go for me. May have to get MSFS now to see what PMDG has to offer with the DC-6 that has to be coming out pretty soon.

A plane that is high fidelity the sounds are terrible and sounds nothing like the Q400.Sound plays a big immersion role in a sim and the Q400 sounds like an old turboprop or WW aircraft
