Показать описание
Radioactive elements are elements that break down forming other elements. The nucleus of a radioactive element is unstable. The nucleus will break down naturally, randomly and spontaneously, without any outside force or stimulus. When this happens, the amount of the element reduces, forming new elements.

There are three types of radioactive radiations, namely alpha radiation, beta radiation and gamma radiation.
