I use to visit Croydon before Mr Khan was elected mayor. It was safe and had 20+ officers VISIBLE on the streets. After Khan's first term you would barely see any police, 2 if you were lucky. I feel unsafe to visit London and avoid it where possible. He only has himself to blame for the cesspit London has become and we'll see what happens in his third term, at least now he can stop blaming a tory government.

£84m is just another lame excuse to fund the usual suspects usual failures. What right do they have to give our money (around £15bn per year) away?

If you make a chicken stew, you mix up the ingredients and eventually after cooking it, you taste it with a spoon. You may decide to add something to augment the flavour so you add A SPOONFULL of chilli or paprika but you do not add a bucketful, because if you do, you change the whole basis of the stew (the chicken). This is what has happened to British society. We have had immigration into this country for 1500 years, but it was a trickle and this created an homogeneous mix resulting a in a good civic society by the 1960s. Since 2000 we have opened the floodgates to millions of economic migrants into Europe and Scandinavia. The result has been a calamity and Nations have lost their identity. The chicken has gone!
