I picked up Birnam Wood Tuesday.
Drove over to the library and read 30pages of Shady Hollow yesterday.
I got home, couldn't stop thinking about that book, got a notice that The Book That Wouldn't Burn arrived (I placed a hold on the book) and I'll checkout SH too. Someone checked the book out!!! The nerve!! Headed over to Barnes & Noble to grab the last copy of Shady Hollow.

I do hope you're feeling better soon it's horrible being sick. ! I've been Ill this week too Monday had a fever 39.0 and chills, then I couldn't eat except bananas for two days because I felt too dizzy to get up and feeling sick Was the closest Ive come to calling someone out as I live on my own but I finally managed some toast and to eat proper cooked meal today rather than pick at things! Think am on the mend. Wasnt covid either wasn't great whatever it was.

Since you mentioned vampires and the cozy fantasy genre has gained a lot of attention, if someone wants a cozy fantasy featuring a vampire, I would recommend Fred the Vampire Accountant series by Drew Hayes (urban fantasy). I really enjoy these books, and Fred is such a good guy who just wants to do an honest job and help his friends. I think these are great, but I may be biased as I'm an accountant myself. 😆😂

Ps: I should mention I'm listening to the audiobooks, and the narrator is great. 😁

I'm glad you liked Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow! I wanted to love it but I absolutely hated the main characters and that made the reading experience agonizing lmao :/

Also I've never heard of the The Serpent and the Wings of Night but it sounds super interesting! Great vid Regan!

I think there was an editing mishap at the 5min mark. I thought maybe it was my connection that jumped the voice over another image but I closed the app and opened the video again and it’s there.

I read Serpents last month and really enjoyed it too. It’s not the most original or genre challenging book but it was just plain fun! I enjoyed the sequel too!
I’m currently reading Tomorrow so this vlog was timely for me! I’m only 60% or so in but really enjoying it.
