the awaken ifrit line does actually have a english version of it that isn't in the strange language at the very end of Dominance trailer we hear it and it seems to be spoken by Rene Zagger a va quite prominently known for his character in ff14.

Back during the showcase that was earlier in the year, I think it was Feb, the first time we see the Clive vs Benedicta/Garuda fight scenes, there was a description about how the Hooded Figure causes the Eikons to go crazy/unstable because the balance is off, you can see that in the eyes of Garuda as they are yellow which means they are not in control that includes Joshua and Clive while Hugo and Jill being the only ones that have not been shown around the Hood Figure to transform with yellow eyes for Hugo/Titan and blue eyes for Jill/Shiva which means she's in control, Cid/Ramuh seems to be immune to that as he is present when the Hood Figure shows up and proximity has nothing to do with it because Garuda is clearly flying around the area taunting Clive on the way to meet the Hood Figure, so there is more to Cid than meets the eye IMO. If you want to say its Clive's first time transforming(that means you can't say Clive is Ifrit during the Night of Flames), I doubt you could say the same for Benedicta and Cid being their first times transforming based off dialog and the scene where they both half transformed with blue eyes, so why did Garuda go crazy and Ramuh did not in the presence of the Hood Figure....

Here is what Wikipedia says briefly:

“In the backstory, a technologically advanced sky-based civilization once dominated the world. 1500 years before, a great war caused the sky civilization to collapse, with remnants of it scattering across Valisthea.”

One thing to note is that in that scene where the mysterious voice (Fallen? Eikonic language?) speaks and tells Ifrit to awaken, how come we as the players, which is supposedly from Clive's POV, understood what it was saying from the subtitles? That can't be a coincidence, considering the care and detail they supposedly took into every part of the story details. So I think that little detail shows that Clive had already heard and can interpret that language from before, and could be important in foreshadowing who Clive is. Maybe he's from the Fallen? who knows XD
