Her coach laughed when Carter did it. Then she patted her on the back. Her teammates clapped. Its cultural. The Sky uses her like an ice hockey enforcer. The WNBA needed to eject her from the league the second time it happened. Instead, we’re onto the 4th. You get suspended for technicals- like hitting a mat. You got far from the question at hand. Your focus shouldn't be on how professional Mabrey is or what her response was to the flagrant attack by Chennedy Carter. The focus should be on player safety. If a player focused on playing the game is attacked on the floor, they could be severely injured. Chennedy Carter has no control over her emotions during a game. The WNBA should have policies in place to address that issue. It isn't subjective or open for discussion. Every single player should know what the consequences will be if this happens. End of story. Stop playing with their safety and give a strong response. She should be suspended and her pay cut for the games she is suspended. Make a statement.
