I remember Christine called herself 'a villain'. She is well aware of the situation and her role in there, and the way she is going to be viewed by the audience once the season gets on the air. She plotted the conflict line deliberately so the show can be interesting.

One drama should not be dragged across 10 eps with no end in sight. If we can sum up this season, it would be like this: Chrishell, Mary and Emma having no work aside bad mouthing Christine, Christine justifying her side of the story through lies, Vanessa being an "innocent lamb" not knowing who to believe, Maya being pregnant and Heather's main personality is Tarek. Man it's boring. Should have focused more on the real estate thing, in this season it's just these bitches showing each other gorgeous house without a single fucking buyer.

I might just me? But I literally see Christine trying to hash things out with Emma. At 4:23, she says I feel like I never met you, meaning we didn't meet each other the right way. Then she tries to tell her that the problem they had was years ago. Trying to get her to understand that that was in the past? Ya'll hate Christine so much.
