I met Sandra Bernhard in 1985 when she was performing at an Atlantic Records private release party for her new music album, "I'm Your Woman" at the Moonshadow Saloon in Atlanta. Attendance was limited to the press and personal friends. She sang a few songs for the guests and then did some mixing. I was there on a photo pass with a friend of mine who was interviewing her for an article in Creative Loafing. She's a very down to earth, friendly, and humble performer. I enjoyed listening in on the interview and came away with a very positive impression of her, as a person.

I remember back in the day when Sandra and Madonna were buddies. But Madonna drops everyone like a Hot Potato eventually.... Gweneth, Rosie, Niki, Ingrid, Guy, Christopher, Rupert, ect...
