the phrase “i was doing fine without you, till i saw your face, now i can’t erase” is so meaningful, reminding me of this guy i had a crush on for so long. the two of us became friends, smiling at one another when we saw each other in the corridor or teasing one another. and then he left high school and i didn’t see him for 6 months - no messaging, no calls, nothing. and i believed i was truly over him. until one day he entered the cafe i work in and suddenly my heart started beating rapidly and i had gotten butterflies in my stomach. just seeing his face made me this way and i honestly can’t believe just the sight of one person can do this. appreciate people whilst they last <3
