it's absurd that we keep saying the supreme court is the apolitical branch of our government.. in reality it is the MOST political because its members are chosen by the president and the political party, and because the supreme court's role is in 'interpreting' the law, that interpretation is totally based on judge's personal and political opinions of our government/system.
