That's the problem with finite resources – they are finite. The present circumstances have only made it even more obvious that renewables are the (not so distant) future.

i dont get it. why people buying suvs???? never heard of aerodynamics? you can have cars with a lot of space but not this bulky. it can safes up to 30% of fuel compare to suvs.

The question is how far you can get with your car with 70 liters. If it's around 1000 km, that's okay. If it's less than 600 km, it's pure luxury.

Gas has always be expensive compared to USA. However, the US used to be at least 4 times cheaper, now it's just half. When I fill up my car in Vegas, it's over $100 now.

I know it is expensive, but compared to the Netherlands it is super cheap. E10 costs in a cheaper than regular place around 2, 24 Euro a liter E 5 costs around 2, 28 Euro a liter. And this would be even 17 cent a loiter more expensive if the government would not have lowered the price due to rising worldprices of oil.

I wisch it would be as cheap here as it is where you are. Our price went back to 1.90 - 2, 12 pl .

70 liters? wow this tank is massive. i drive a 20 y/o ford fiesta, i also get super 95 (E5) and when i am all the way empty and i fill up, i get like maybe 30-ish liters. at a current price between 1.50€ and 1, 70€ you can calculate your self how much i pay to fill up. luckily my way to work is not that super far so i can go almost a whole month on one filling.

I'll give a thumbs up and a short comment so that the YouTube algorithm takes effect and the gas costs come back.😂

I'd never drive a SUV for this exact reason. Not to speak of environmental issues. 😑

Two cars, huh. Don't let Greta know.

No chance to use car sharing?

SUV have a bad reputation in Germany - for a good reason.

It's crazy to me, we have 2022, Putin is fighting a war with his oil money (i don't even talk about OPEC), the climate change is here, and we see it happen in real time and the world still has cheap gas everywhere. The price for gas in the western world should be much higher!

The Green Party in had a plan in 1998 to raise the gas price to 5 DM/L (thats €2, 55/l) until 2008. Sadly the green party wasn't as strong as today and those plans stayed plans, but it would have encouraged much more people to go without a car, alternative fuel types or nowadays electric.

i'm driving electric for years now and its great, i'm paying a €20 flat rate for my "gas" per month, i have a small cheap car for small trips up to 150 km and a big one for longer trips.
Even the €15.000 town car can beat nearly every car at a stop light and the big one is basically the fastest mass production car on the planet, i can't count the Ferrari and co i left in the dust on the Autobahn.

Who or why still buys ice cars?
