I surfed Balangan in August, 1993. Then wasn t crowded at all, different situation of Ulu, Bingin and Padang Padang. I wish I had gone more times... Just one time in Bali, also missed G-land.

Sri Lanka is way better for a relaxed surf holiday. Locals and tourists are way to aggressive in Bali now and the traffic is terrible.

Hi please could you give me some advise?

I need to know some good waves to go to Bali next week.

Needs to be soft and easy for my wife and if it is possible a nice sand beach for my kids to play while she surfs.

I was thinking of west coast but the winds at this time of the year don't help at all.

Balangan best in the wet season at mid tide. Please follow this expert advice. Do not surf Balangan in the dry season, it truly sucks, and besides, the shabu addicted dugongs can be quite sexually aggressive.
