Inform yourselves with facts. Australia banned certain guns and they are much better off now. A huge part of the problem in the US is "gun culture" so long as guns and "standing our ground" - (with guns)
are idealized we will have more shootings. We must change the paradigm. As long as ghoulish behavior and macho cool-gun persona are held in awe - we will act as thugs with the worst amongst us committing horrible acts. Our culture pushes some individuals to do terrible things. We must uphold peaceful, non-violent ways. Sure there will always be exceptions, but we still work towards betterment.
