Pretty sure you can slew it to the HMCS as well. If I recall correctly it's either TMS Up Long or TMS Down Long, but I might be misremembering.

Thank you I have been accidently hitting my cursor while dogfighting and didn't know what this was or how I got into this. Is there any advantage or scenario where I would use this over vertical scan in a close dogfight guns only?

Do you know why In my f-16 I get stuck in this mode even without a lock? I get into it without pressing anything, for example, flying normally but all bvr missiles miss, i need to dogfight and I switch to dogfight mode, I'm in this mode for no reason and can't tms up or tms down to get out of it. Do you know how to fix this?
