The Houdini Engine for UE 4 Version 2 plugin now lets you connect to a session of Houdini Engine running inside Houdini. The state of Houdini Engine can be viewed in Houdini while working with the plugin in UE4. Changes you make on either end, whether in UE4 via the plugin or in Houdini via its various interfaces, will be synchronized to allow both applications to make changes and see the same results.

Does it work with rigging for animations?
I mean, in order to use houdini to animate a scene and using unreal to render it :o
(also, in case of it would be possible... would it work with both, FK and IK?)

FYI - you can not use Unreal Houdini pluging with Unreal using an Apprentice version - you need the Indie license. SideFX isn't clear (at all) about this on their website. You can use Apprentice Houdini for free, but need to pay to use the Houdini plugin with Unreal or Unity.
