In this third part of the 5-section series, with Radek from Sens Foods, we talked a lot about cricket protein. We talked about the bad impacts of animal protein production and why cricket protein can serve well here. Radek also dived deep into their way of farming and how cricket breeding actually works. I am happy to hear that Sens Foods is also working on making the cricket protein as financially available as other animal proteins currently are.

Would you feel comfortable with trying crickets? If yes, use the code ADAMONDRA and you will have a 15% discount.

how about spider protein for extra climbing gains

Pls Adam don't go this way. Your last 3 videos were typical ads. We climbers cannot asses properly if you actually believe those revelations or they just paid and you talk whatever they want. You had absolutely the best channel about climbing on the entire YT and right now I'm not even moderatly excited when I see those movies. Honestly watching you do some winter preparation and campusing would be way more entertaining.

I really wonder how Adam could win the World Championships in Paris in 2016 without CBD oil and cricket protein?!

Strangely we will find ourselves eating crickets and paying the same amount we currently pay for meat, and only the richest elite people will be able to afford steak.

You really asked the hard questions there didn't ya (sarcasm). I do think crickets are a better way then meat but still I was kinda hoping a bit less commercial and a bit more critical

fucked up, I'd still go for my vegan pea rice and hemp protein...

The claim, that you need animal protein and that you have to sacrifice performance if you go vegan is unjustified. Protein sources are similar or better in plants and you don’t compromise your vascular system by saturated fat and cholesterol. This is backed up by scientific studies and the fact that you have power athletes who are vegan. Check for example Clarence Cennedy or Patrik Baboumian.

we are not farming insects, we are rearing them

Ok, adam, I'll go along with that now.
Sens' argumentation sounds halfway plausible. I took a closer look at their products on their homepage, e.g. the CHOCOLATE CRICKET PROTEIN BLEND.
chocolate aroma, sucralose WHY?
You talk about drinking only water and avoiding McDonalds because you don't like it and then you promote a product with chocolate aroma and sucralose?

Great video. Eating bugs needs to become more common. Cricket flour cookies are the best!

I enjoyed the work! I've been trying to search for YouTube vid like yours that educates the topics in this YouTube video. 👨‍⚕️ 👏Your breakdown for sure is like the channel of Dr. Ethan. Doctor Ethan's explanations are knowledgable and I learned a lot for exams. He is the helpful health enthusiast on YouTube and he explains health.

I recommend you watch his YouTube out and give the medical student a like! ➡️ #DoctorEthanQuestions

Consumption of bugs are for survival or extreme poverty situations . Nothing more

Vegans have worse nutrition??? There are now loads of world class athletes who are vegan. That might have been a valid opinion 40 years ago but not with what we know now

Why do you do this? #ads? Really? I doubt you need this–financially or otherwise. So why? This is supposed to be about climbing isnt it? This stuff will disappoint or piss off a lot of people. Dont go that way. Its not worth it, please.

Are there ANY elite athletes who were vegan for the majority of their lives?

I think the argument about being able to be one without meat are pointless as it's not an impossibility it's just that it requires more effort, just from a chewing perspective! Also what about phytates? The chemic constituents of a food don't tell half the story, it's about what you can ABSORB and whilst I'm not saying being an elite vegan athlete (from birth) isn't possible it's a lot harder when you're competing with omnivorous ones who make less effort.

It's not a simple argument though is it

You might as well just go plant based tbh

Sorry, but this hole "series" is'nt more than a comercial in the name of a great athlete.
