These videos are important. There is very little information about these hubs anywhere. Thanks Dan

4:36 - The 90mm has to be measured between the barrel adjuster (plastic part over the end of the cable housing) and the clamping bolt - NOT the blank end of the cable housing.

Thanks for your great video! May I ask how many turns does the red part from 1st to the 7the speed? I suspect I got the damaged spring inside...

Hi Dan do you happen to know if the spring inside the click box can be purchased ? The replacement unit I ordered 2 years ago from one where on the internet has decided it hated life and corroded in half.

Nice that the anchor is removable from the old cable and attachable to the new one. I’m sure that makes a replacement cable a lot easier to find (even if the thickness is off by a bit). Sad to hear Sram is out of the internal geared hub business - I think they’re so ingenious. I guess that leaves Shimano, Sturmey-Archer and Rohloff.

SRAM S7 or P5 clickbox are all faulty design, too much plastic, not durable enough, easy to fall out. Shimano is better. I got one like this but it did not work any more and is very expensive to replace.
