This week's review is on the #discraft SoL midrange disc. The SOL was an Ace Race disc and is a controllable, stable to understable beginner friendly disc from #discraft. The Sol's shallow rim and small diameter make it comfortable to hold while the dome and profile offer tons of glide for those long, glidey approaches. Workable in an infinite number of ways, the SOL is a perfect addition to anyone's bag -- from beginner to top level Am, and even the Pro player. The Sol is undoubtedly one of the most underrated discs in the Discraft Midrange lineup.

I couldn't agree more! I just put this in the bag and have been using it as an approach disc. I don't have a forehand so when I need to go right I reach for the Sol.

I know it was an ad, but sun king discs is actually great. I'm always trying to promote companies other than infinite discs because I don't want the options to go away and a monopoly is never good for an industry. Also I just had a great experience with them. Thanks for the review! I'm thinking of getting a Meteor but I wanted to check this disc out first.

Some would say it’s a Comet with a better feel for those who dislike the goofy feel of a Comet😄 Great review Craig!

I love the Sol. I bag a ace race esp currently. The ace race has better grip imo and will stick where it hits. I agree with what was said in the review but I would also add that it's great forehand anny disc as well. Not a shot you'll use a ton but when your in the woods and need to get out of trouble it's a valuable shot to have. Just a said note. I think even players who have big arms could and should try this disc. It will open up a ton more lines. Just look at double G he has one of the biggest arms on tour and bags us discs like the Sonic and wombat3.

People have said this is more of a tweener between putter and mid, but I'm not sure at my skill level I'd be able to tell a difference. Do you notice a distance difference between this disc and some of the other Discraft mids? Also has this taken the place of anything else in your bag like the Meteor?
