2023 Dodge Hornet: A Swarm of One | Bring The Sting | Episode 7

Doing something that’s never been done before isn’t easy. It takes vast amounts of time and effort, along with the talent of some of the best people in the industry.

Such is the case with building the world’s first wide-body Hornet GT. From revamping the suspension and wheels, to cutting, fabricating, and mounting our all-steel fender flares, to now, readying the world’s first Hornet center-exit exhaust system, this is a project that has tested all who are involved. But that doesn’t mean you waver – instead, it means buckling down and using every challenge that’s thrown at you as another reason to excel, which is exactly what we did.

On this episode of Hornet, A Swarm of One, presented by Dodge, it’s time to hit the exhaust shop with the mission of injecting some hot rod noise and a bit more flow into the Hornet’s turbocharged inline-4 with the goal of helping it breathe a little better.

Truly took the words out of my mouth at 3:50. As I was watching I thought, "It's like watching truly gifted musicians who have never played together before. I did the same thing with the exhaust shop I went to. Here's the muffler and tip, I want it side exit and done in stainless. Then let them do the rest... you can't squash creativity. They did such a great job, when a year later I lowered my truck there's zero clearance and scrape issues.

do people square off bumper cutouts for exhaust??? Round it so it fits with the tips.

That squared off crap looks like a total hack job.

Hopefully they end up putting a rear diffuser on that covers that squared junk up.
