I think F1 2017 was rated at the time for it's content, the amount of cut scenes and those vistas in the paddock haven't been matched since... also F1 2018 had interviews

F1 2017 is so underrated it's almost a crime. Graphics back then looked 100x times better than in F1 24 which looks like a PS2 game.

brother aarava, ofcourse 2017 is rated higher than 2020 because the review for 2017 was in 2017 and in that time f1 2017 was a geat game for its time, ofcourse games that are newer are going to look better... and also its not just rated on graphics but also its contet wich 2017 had a lot of which even 2020 didnt have

f1 2017 is above 19 and 21 because of the handling. in 19 you had lock ups into almost every corner the front end had no grip (which the drivers later said was annoying) and in 21 you had the same with the rears bad traction out of corners compared to 2020 and 2017 was just allround a good f1 game handling feels great there is an evolution in terms of game design and the ai was somewhat clean back then

I used to love F1 2014 when I was kid. I got it as a xmas present and spent so many hours playing the career. Of course the last F1 game I played before it was F1 2006 on the ps2 so I can't really know what it was like going from F1 2013 to F1 2014.

Well atleast we had realistic grass in f1 2015 and car parts actually flying off instead of being attached to the car... Wheels now just don't jump around the track, soo sad
