Another great trick. Thought you'd like to know I took my wife to visit her friend in hospital the other day. I ended up doing five card tricks (three of them yours) in front of the friend and four other patients. another great trick ... here's another option. 3 aces and a pair of tens ( full house) .. then of course the other 5 is the royal flush.. Now of course in the end, either way, you show the aces and pair, and beat it with the royal. 🎩

My only adaptation of this trick would be to take the set-up a little further and put a couple of pairs (or even 3 of a kind) in the 'x cards', then at the end introduce a poker hand style face-off, and hopefully the punter would notice them and choose the face up cards, which your royal flush will beat. Could be a way to win a drink?
