Vids like this remind that living in Portland I’m in knife heaven. Leatherman, Kershaw, and Gerber all here.

For otf knives that don’t have a clip I find magazine holsters work great.

Im not denying any of these knives. But the Hogue microswitch is best knife I've ever held which led me to buy it.

Benchmade knives are over priced. Good knives, but not for the money.

I dont like otf knives, they are too wobbly, not enough metal in the handle when extended for any serious cutting.

Benchmades are just too high priced VS other like pro-tech and many more.

I have to question the design of push-button autos. For right hand deployment, you thumb the button and brace your fingers on the belt clip to keep it from bucking out of your hands. If you take the belt clip off, it's a lot harder to control the knife when opening it. I don't use the belt clip myself, belt carrying tears up the inside of my jacket and I don't want it to tear up my pants pocket.

None of these complaints really apply to me. I'm left-handed and when I open my auto, I use my index finger to deploy the blade and stabilize it with my thumb and other three fingers. I carry a Kershaw Launch 6.
