I HATE Singing Happy Birthday

We all love birthdays, well as we are growing up. Not as you start to get old. But usually it means, presents, cake, an entire day where you feel special among other days. If you are lucky enough to have friends and family around you, who like you they may want to get you a birthday cake, bring it to you with candles to blow out and sign the Happy Birthday Song.

I don't hate the happy birthday song, I hate the awkwardness around when everyone is singing it directly to you and walking towards you, as you never know what to do. You can't really sing along as its to you! So you have to kind of smile and look at everyone and wait for it to be over so you can blow out your candles. I hate it... it's so awkward. Especially if everyone is around you in a circle.

So true. For me it's usually not awkward because it's family and we always have a designated time to sing and it's always the same just sing along or look happy for the camera. While your surrounded by your fam.
