In question 2, is there any need of phasor?

i(t)=v(t)/2
i(t)=6sin(wt+10°)/2
i(t)=3sin(wt+10°)

In the first example you said the value of 10 in the give phasor was = Vrms, then in the 2nd example the value of 6 in the phasor was not Vrms but Vm instead?? How do you decide whether the first value in the phasor is rms or just m?

How would I decide whether to take Vm as peak value or rms value.
And in question if Vm is assumed to be rms values then Im in expression of i(t) should be in rms as well
(but you have placed peak value of Im).
Please clarify ..

Since its Im, , , why have we not divided by √2 to obtain i(t)?

In first problem you taken 10 as rms and
second problem you have taken 3 as maximum

Second solution will be like
i(t)=v(t)/2
={6sin(wt+10°)}/2
=3sin(wt+10°)
This ans is same as your answer.
But why do i take phasor form of voltage? And then get phasor form of current and then get i(t)
Is there any Necessity to follow these steps?

Q.peak or RMS
A. First question the voltage given was in phasor form so that was the RMS value in the second question it was given in sinusoid form and in sinusoid form the amplitude given is the max value so he took peak value..hope it clears!!

I might be mistaken but since the second question is sin, shouldnt the phase angle be (10-90) since this the phase angle has to be correlated to cosine
