Empire: Total War Trailer

Really want Empire II with ships able to participate in land battles.

This is truly the best Total War game. Bring it back to light with a remaster! More units, detailed lands, more countries, more diplomatic options (like napoleon total war). I’ve spent 500+ hours in this base game and Darth Mod which also has many features that could be added to the base game. Playable smaller nations are the best. Long live the Bavarian Monarchy!

Cannons are the strongest faction. 19 cannons in a single straight line with a general at back is almost invincible.

Empire was a great game but in my opinion I think napoleon is better but still great game.

This game favors the British Line-Infantry unit, no mods, I simply clicked play battle to then clear the defaults given, and then chose only one British line-infantry unit vs one of the line-infantry for the other larger nations; and when I did, I was disappointed to watch how the British line-infantry never lost the battle. No matter if the line-infantry units were of equal numbers for the attributes (melee, defense, attack etc.), the British line-infantry always overcame. I chose the Anatolian map, and then I simply marched my British line-infantry unit toward the opposing line-infantry of my choice, but I observed whether it was against the line-infantry for the USA, Russia, France, Spain, Austria, Prussia that it simply did not seem to matter because the flags of the opposition began blinking, and then the battle was won by the British. If you can locate a one-on-one simulation of a line-infantry only unit that will defeat the British line-infantry, then please leave a comment and tell me which nation, so I can test it on my game which I bought. If the attributes were the same, then the result should be a draw.

My first game on PC and my all time favorite game. Pity that Creative Assembly cannot make a decent historical title anymore.

This game needs a remaster with more details in the eastern factions, the Persians, the Afghans, the Mughals, the Marathas, the Mysoreans, the Morocoo and the Barbary states and all. I wish CA considered it.

Rome Total War Remastered is good better than Rome 2 Total War in my opinion in management areas. CA should do a Empire Total War Remastered.

6:25 AM 12/4/2022 You guys should try a space rts something different for reals talking about Halo universe rts game (THIS WILL BLOW HALO WARS OUT OF THE WATER). Its not Total War but playing the battles out would be more like company of heroes rts. Go all out detail with economy and management plus new features managing campaign map is same as Total War games. The campaign map would be a huge star system and you can zoom into solar systems conquering planets building colonies or bases. Its same as Empire Total War but bigger and futuristic with new features. The portal to travel to different theatres is a good one. I like Total War 3 Kingdoms still play it but to expand the campaign map being able to go into Europe to play against Roman Empire use the portal features from Empire Total War. China is a small world to me already.
