My main concern is that, well, it's Microsoft demoing technology. Sure, first demos of Kinect, from Star Wars to Milo, were impressive too, until the truth about their staged nature was revealed. I'm not saying this is fake, but it's MS' own fault I'm so freaking jaded towards their demos these days.

That said, I guess I need to start planning my own 'holographic penguin companion' app right now.

Remember when the Kinect was first introduced? How everything thought it was going to be mind blowing awesome? This is what reminds me of that. This is NOT going to be everything they are hyping it up to be. This is all marketing and smoke/mirrors. 

Some of you are going to say things like "You don't know. You haven't used it yet!" or "Are you a marketing expert? How would you know?". The thing is, I don't have to do/be either of those. This type of build up has been done for countless amounts of products. 

While I support the industry's want to climb into the AR/VR market, these are some of the first major consumer level products for this technology. So, don't get too hype. Always watch new products/techs with hesitation or you're going to get burned.

I wanna play Pokemon on Hololens, just imagine two people standing and shouting. "Charizard, use dragon pluse, " and the other one shout "Salamance, use hydro pump".
Hope the next Nintendo Console is like this. Or they should make games for Microsoft, who knows?
