In the play where JJ and Adds split different ways, if the near CB doesn't follow JJ, he's wide open. If he does follow JJ, Adds is wide open. That's just a perfect example of pick your poison playcalling. In fact, the sooner Darnold sees the first CB bite, the more wide open Addison is. He actually threw the ball almost too late.
