LG V20 and V60 owner here.

I may get the wing for christmas to collect and for its unique fun feature set and no notch and SD card.

I really wish it has the V60 cameras and audio.

But its all good.

I miss the days of phone competition and innovation adding features instead of taking them away.

N is we still have innovation but little competition to really get it moving ahead.

When you only have two major players left for the mist part in the usa....why innovate?

No headphone jack is a bummer but in this case they have a legitimate excuse for its.

Although an extra non charging usbc should be included in phones with no headphone jacks.

Just got android 12 on my ATT LG wing. didnt expect it, it looked like a regular security update. I just installed a new battery and rear glass so it is like a brand new phone to me.

I have an unlocked AT&T ZTE tablet. In order to get an Android update, I bought a pre paid AT&T sim, and sat in their store with SIM installed and used store wifi to download ( wouldn't update on SIM data or by using another phone hot spot). Peace

Hey there, just looking around at videos about the Android 12 update for the Wing and I just wanted to give my experience. Before I say anything, I will note that I used Nova Launcher as my stock launcher for most of the devices' life span.

After my Wing got the Android 12 update, I noticed it got slower, buggier, and far less responsive. Touch didn't work properly sometimes, the system UI would get slower and slower over the course of a few days, to the point where when I pressed the volume or power buttons, tried to go home or back, nothing would happen and the device would stop responding. Sometimes it would crash to the lock screen when this happened, but other times it would fully lock up the phone and I'd have to force restart it. I also noticed a lot of lag when switching between apps sometimes, as well as some very odd text resizing glitches in Discord specifically. Text boxes when responding to posts would often not pop up above the keyboard, requiring me to type without seeing what I'm typing. All of this, combined with an ok camera, sub-par battery life (even when not using the second screen), other software bugs and glitches, led me to purchasing a Pixel 7 Pro, and sadly, finally, abandoning LG after being a fanboy since my very first phone, the LG Vortex. I felt really bad for switching off of it after less than a year after getting it, but I just couldn't stand all the bugs anymore. Pretty sad story.
