Derek Fisher is my favorite Laker of all time. I have very fond memories of my dad and I watching the Lakers in the playoffs and seeing him hit clutch shots. He was the only person Kobe trusted to take those shots.

I think Fish is gonna get hall of fame. May take a while, but i think it's gonna happen. Not because he was a good player (because let's face it, he wasn't GREAT but he made things happen) but because of moral fiber and all that good stuff. Plus Player's association head.

That is true, but there are so many things that make a great team that are not tracked on a stat sheet. There are few guys in the NBA that are willing to fufill those roles. Fischer was one of them. You can't replace his leadership, experience, and wisdom with a rookie who comes in and averages 19 a game.
