17. Holy hell. That's crazy young. :( Rest in peace, sir. Thank you for dedicating your time to educate others about this. <3

This is extremely rare, who knows if it was even caused by his tobacco use at that age. I know people who got lung cancer and never smoked.

Rip Gruen. Even though he made some bad choices he was a nice man and didn’t deserve this.

I got the news of this fighter's passing right here. I have to say, after seeing this guy in the "Unsweetened Truth" ad, I got to say he seemed like a really nice guy, who, despite having made these decisions, had a strong spirit. May Gruen rest in peace, and may Angels sing thee to thy paradise.

Thank you for having the courage to upload this important video. A friend of mine passed away from tongue cancer directly related to dipping. People should realize that dip + drinking (and the two go together) are the best ways to get lip, tongue and other oral cancers. Oral cancer is aggressive and very difficult to beat. I wish you the best!

So happy I quit... I dipped for one year, from age 19-20. Quit before my 20th birthday because I refuse to carry this addiction into my 20’s and I refuse to have cancer in my 30’s.

my brother's friend has cancer right now! he was getting a lot better until he started getting stomach pains and they said they had to do it all over again. he's been staying in the hospital for 2 weeks at a time then coming home a few days then going back. he had to skip a whole year of school because he had to stay in the hospitals. when we visit him we have to wear these face masks ( there very uncomfortable ). he's only 12 year's old and my brother stays outside in the cold asking for donations and right now there school is trying to get donations for this one kid. his name is Ethan and we're praying. we no he'll make it through this, after all he's going through he better!

Yeah its funny how most people don't know that dipping tobacco is a safer alternative to smoking tobacco. Much safer.

Dang, he got cancer when he was my age (I'm 17 right now) and now he's dead from the cancer. See, people? See what I mean? See what I mean when I say that tobacco is dirty and dangerous? People don't listen to me usually irl when I tell them that they just go "so I've heard" or "I know, but it's a personal choice" (not thinking about the fact that their tobacco is getting in the air we ALL have to breathe and getting in the hair and on the skin and clothes of them giving people exposure 3rd hand) or "whatever, I don't care" or "nah, that's a lie" or "the risks are only high for some people and it won't happen to me" or whatever. I tell them all about the risks for your brain, lungs, mouth, throat, heart, ears, nose, eyes, nails, hair, skin, pancreas, stomach, immune system, etc., but THEY DON'T LISTEN! I tell them about how they are hurting not only themselves, but EVERY SINGLE LIVING BEING ON EARTH with their nasty tobacco filth by way of 2nd and 3rd hand tobacco, hurting the environment, triggering sensory overload AND allergies in me (it's bad for everyone, but when you have heightened senses and allergies to the tobacco in addition to how it is bad for everyone...well, let's just say I don't enjoy coughing and sneezing and having a sore throat and rashes from the allergies, and I also don't enjoy gagging from that awful smell), and I tell them of all the birds and trees and deer and bears and ladybugs and fireflies and butterflies and moths and dogs and cats and such that they are harming, and I tell them all about how everyone's gotta breathe in your junk if you smoke, and everyone has to smell that, and how I'm not the only one with allergies and/or sensory issues to that crap, but THEY DON'T CARE! I tell them all about how they are likely rotting themselves to death as they speak, and THEY DON'T CARE! I list off all the diseases smoking can cause, everything from ear infections to Raynaud's syndrome to immune system problems to schizophrenia to congestive heart failure to mouth cancer to lung cancer, and they don't listen to me one little bit.

I chewed Skoal from age 18 to age 54, I quit the day I got Baptized February 20 2022 By the grace of God I didn’t get mouth cancer!! I’ve got new teeth implants after I quit! The dentist told me it was a miracle I didn’t get mouth cancer! I was chewing two cans a day the last ten years! This is the first time in my life I ever looked up one of these videos because I was terrified of the truth! Thank you God from freeing me from this deadly habit 🙏🏽 RIP young man! 😢

Him. Also someone I know, who actually started at the age of twelve. And a few at my school. It may not be as popular as it was a couple decades ago, but it is still prominent. Im just glad I have grown up in a family that gave me enough sense to say no.

While cigarettes may certainly not have helped, it doesn't necessarily mean that they are what gave him cancer. Smoking caused cancer typically takes decades of extremely heavy use. Cigarettes are not the only cause of cancer that exists and anyone who knows the nature of the illness understands there are MANY factors that go into it.
