Simply explained for me that a regular Apple Watch band really isn’t going to give air ventilation to prevent irritation of the skin. If you’re an athletic person and/or care for your daily physical activities, then the Nike Apple Watch is worth buying. Some people may be limited to the band they want to buy depending upon the watch type.

That was a confusing explanation.
Wouldn’t it have been simpler to say: If you want those 2 colors then get the Nike watch because of the extra features and you can then purchase any other additional watchband(s) you want.

Why not just get the Nike and get the extra watch faces? There doesn’t seem to be downsides other than fewer watch face options.

yeah, i went with the midnight 45mm Nike version. made more sense to me because of the watch faces and due to the fact that i wasn't going with the blue watch again this year. back to basic colors....the sport loop it came with is actually remarkably comfortable. kinda impressed, not gonna lie. best bang for your buck. hands down.

I’ve literally just made this VERY decision!!!! Currently have the S4 Space Black Stainless Steel but have now upgraded to the S7 45mm Midnight Nike Edition 👌🏼👍🏼 My reasons : I use the Nike Run Club weekly for running and also love the Nike only Watch faces which are not found on other editions.

Just got the Series 7 Midnight Nike 45mm! Let’s go. Only thing exclusive on the Nike ones are the faces/wallpapers, but still hype none the less. lol

I'd say that that in the end you should only consider the size, color and whether you need the cellular or not, that's it. You can change the straps. If the new watch faces are must, go with Nike.

Went with the Nike S7 Midnight 41mm. Supposed to get here between Jan 4-6

The reason why some people will not go with the nike version is the nike branding and the nike logo on the back. I know it's nitpicking but some people just want the pure apple branding that's it.

I had the Nike one in my S4 and the additional watch faces are nice but I don’t need all those faces. So with my SE I got regular and now I just got the 7 regular and I am satisfied. I have my few normal everyday faces and my one face I switch to when I workout I’m good

Well, why wouldn't you get the Nike one if you want Starlight or Midnight? You will just have more benefits. So I ordered the Starlight Nike Version.

I’ve had 4 Nike Apple watches and I loved them all. This year I opted for the regular 7 just to change it up.

I want the gold color so that means the Apple brand, stainless steel celular. While I don’t particularly want cellular, I am sold on the color and casing. So the first two minutes of this video gave me my answer.

I was forced to get the non-Nike edition because T-Mobile doesn’t carry it. I’m not loaded enough to afford a $550 Watch, I have to make payments. But I freakin love the Starlight color and matching band ❤️
