Because This Is My First Life is a GEM. A simple but realistic look at one's idea, expectations, reality and struggles of success, dreams, career, workplace, parents and family, healing, love, courtship, marriage and life in general in the modern times. Poignant, relatable, sad but uplifting, empathetic and so healing.

A closer match is Hometown Cha Cha Cha but this one is deeper.

I've been binge watching K-dramas alot lately due to some mental breakdown, and my favourite so far is "Because this is my first life". The story, the character, the interaction is just perfect, not over the top, just enough. Its like a healing series, very soothing for the soul. I hate series that has "unnecessary plot twist cliche drama" like amnesia, sudden car accident, long lost sibling loving each other etc.. that turn the ending 180 degree. For this drama, you know what the ending will be, but you will still keep watching, because its that good. Cannot recommend it enough.
