Guys, correcting the information given in the video, the diameter of the earth is 12 million meters, not 12 thousand, sorry for the error. Demonic Hugs!

Very well explained. I wouldn't have expected for the Medusa to be an alien, but it certainly is a good backstory.

This is insane, my guy really went from stone age ALL the way to BEYOND the modern era before he even aged significantly, bro looks the same as the start of the manga and yet he accomplished so much

This anime really is about the journey not the destination..
Honestly i didn't even care that much about the story, i could just listen to Senkuu explaining scientific things all day.

Interesting.

But, with natural processes, so many petrified humans were ground to fine dust and spread around way beyond recovery (ocean), like some of it’s infused, mixed, and become fine particles that’s lightly contributing to the bodily structures of fish and seaweed at this point*, lost in the ocean depths, and they kinda allowed the tech that could’ve helped them to rot away.

*similar to how fish have trace amounts of mercury in them

I didn't know the aliens would be so polite to help us.

No conclusion for the robot on the space station was a bit sad, but otherwise its...okay. Not the best, not the worst.
Only thing I kinda didn't vibe with was the time machine thing at the end, cause with linear time Senku shoulda known if anybody went back to change stuff then they'd negate ever having gone to begin with, and thus nothing changes.

Yo, that device looks like the call of duty black ops 2 symbol.

The ending feels disappointing, it's like his efforts were meaningless, and if he brings back his father wouldn't that cause the tribr to disappear? Since they no longer have ancestors

Dude thank you so much for explaining without dragging it out like most Youtubers!

Im glad it's not another generic bad guy with stupid reasons but i wish it wasn't the device themselves doing it tho but i like this ending something very new im honestly surprised at this

When Film Theory first covered this Anime and determined the petrification vector to be nano bots, I thought that Why man was a Human AI of some kind, didn’t know it was an alien AI. Especially since the first petrification wave was from South America.

Imagine if Senku's real dad is Why-Man, a super genius scientist creating/becoming medusa's, his conciousness transferred to the advanced technology, not some alien shitstuff. Would have been a great scientific series.

Here me out!. What if future Senku was the one who created the petrification devices?? If y'all remember, Senku eventually builds a time machine, so maybe during his travels through time, he unintentionally altered certain events, which could lead to chaos ( Grandfather Paradox). So perhaps petrification was the solution Senku found to fix the potential problems caused by using the time machine...😬😳

That AI doesn't seem to be so advanced if it missed obvious loophole in its "proposition" of petrification. If civilization is advanced enough to replicate Medusa, it's able to replicate effects of petrification. Then, if civilization wanted that effect it would've applied it already. If it didn't, it either doesn't need one or can't replicate Medusa. In any case, such "proposition would be treated as aggressive act.

What if senku created the medusa?
Its possible that he himself is the reason why it exist

Why-Man's entire origins and actual end-game is such a let down. I am all for uniqueness and sometimes not following certain tropes, but this was not it man. Would've been much better and more satisfying if it was just a literal guy in the moon. Could have been one of the Apollo 13 guys that was actually left out in the moon (and the media covered it). When he saw his traitors of crewmates leave him alone there. As he saw the Earth from the surface of the moon, he would've conjured such hate for humanity that when he finds these petrification devices. He accidentally petrifies himself but because he is in space, the petrification only lasts for 50 years. During those 50 years, he decides in his head to use what he had found to launch a petrification attack that would encompass every human on Earth. If he can't walk on the Earth, then no human can.
