Elvis Presley - Best of the Audience Recordings Vol. 3 - 15 November 1972 - Long Beach

This was Elvis' first visit to Long Beach during the seventies, the second of two consecutive shows in as many days and it is a quite sublime concert. Both of these shows have been avaialable on unofficial labels in audience recorded form for a few years now and this was selected as the first to be featured due to slightly better sound than the first show.

Elvis would return to the California city just once more for two shows on 25 April 1976 and although these shows were not as dynamic as their 1972 counterparts, can be counted amomg the best of that particular year.

What a tremendous concert! Like a better version of Aloha 😅 And I think I heard the sound of a rolling 8mm camera a couple of times... Wonder if there's any footage of this anywhere?
