Wrist roll well yeah but they roll with the forearms, Hogan called it as others do "pronate" and " suponate" if you keep your wrists and forearms locked in position during the swing, all you can do is push and pull the club head.we lock our wrist to strike with a sledge hammer, we hinge our wrist to strike with a claw hammer, if you are after speed you must roll your forearms, the illusion happens because people due the roll at different points in the swing, defined as early ar the takeaway and late at the top.

Golf is a game different shape shots specially from the tee. you need to roll the wrist in some degrees on long game. All shots are not 100 yards approach. Please do not confuse the viewers. Can some body be realistic?
