I love that they made a documentary honoring the victims, not once mentioning the names of the killers or showing their faces, simply focusing on those we lost

The principal didn’t retire until every kid in the public school system during the shooting graduated.(kids that were in preschool were the last in 2014)

I was in 9th grade when this happened. One of the victim's mother... Isaiah's mother gave a speech at our school on the one year anniversary. She was so brave to share her grief with us. I'll never forget her.

"There's a hole in my heart. It's a big one. That was placed there on April 20th. And the hole hasn't gotten any smaller. I don't expect it ever to. But I make it a goal to do something every day to make my heart bigger. So that the hole in my heart doesn't seem so huge."... That resonated with me so much. I've lost so many people in my life. This is what I need to do.

The footage of Sean Graves at the hospital learning to walk again broke my heart. His anger and sadness really hit me hard. This entire video was really difficult to watch. All my love to the survivors and the families of those who died. To think it’s been 20 years is still hard to grasp.

Imagine trying to focus in a library where half a dozen of teens were murdered...

As a parent it must be devastating to be always confronted with the blank space at the end ... when watching through a photo album and realizing there won't be any pictures after that ... can't even begin to think how that must feel like and i hope i will never have to ...

The principal- what an amazing man. He never stopped keeping the memory of the victims alive. He still cries for them twenty years later. So much respect.

“ I have this theory that if one person can go out of their way to show compassion then it will start a chain reaction of the same. People will never know how far a little kindness can go. ”

20 years later and nothing has changed, the only question is “When and where is the next one going to take place?”

The part where Sean is trying to walk again made me sad because of how mad he was at himself for not being able to walk, even though it isn't his fault because he was shot in Such a horrible tragedy and the fact that he gets so pissed. That shit hurted.

Hearing Kelly’s parents talk about her daughter broke my heart. Specially when they said that they look for signs that Kelly sends to them to let them know she is ok and that she is out there. I don’t think it’s a coincidence. I lost my mom to cancer and I also look out for signs from my mom. I know my aunt has also received signs from my mom to let her know she is there. Kelly is out there and she is looking out for her parents. I hope they know that it is not a coincidence. Kelly is in a better place looking out for her parents. May God bless Kelly’s parents & family and all the families and victims. All the stories touched my heart strings but Kelly’s parents spoke volumes to me. I wish I could give them both a hug.

I somehow always come back to videos about columbine. It's like a reminder to honor those who died. I might not have known them but I sure do know what the pain of losing a loved one feels like. I remember back in middle school we got the Rachel's Challenge rally, and it was supposed to happen every 4 years. I wonder if they still do that. It was so touching, I cried so much, may God keep them all in his glory, and give all families and victims the peace and strength they need each and every day💖

In 2006, I Was In 6th Grade. We Had A Guest Speaker Who Was Friends With Rachel Scott, & talked about Rachel’s Challenge.
That’s how I learned about Columbine & her life. The day before the shooting, She drew a picture of a rose in her notebook that had 13 tears. The same number of students & the teacher that died.
