The University of Nairobi is a collegiate research university based in Nairobi. It is the largest university in Kenya. Although its history as an educational institution dates back to 1956, it did not become an independent university until 1970.

I find it painful to accept that Nairobi university is large, a university with a major hospital, built up stadium for soccer, basketball and other sporting activities.Nairobi university lacks many infrastructure befitting a leading university.I have had the opportunity of visiting such places like Ibadan university, Durban, University and Massachusetts university and I have marveled at this universities however Nbi university produces first class graduate.
