another funny fact is ewan mcgreggor had to retake his scenes many times because the director noticed he kept making the lightsaber noises with his mouth whenever he and hayden were fighting with them 😂

Hayden Christiansen himself said in a GQ video that the Mustafar duel didn't use stunt doubles, wasn't sped up by any means and that him and Ewan McGregor were just THAT GOOD at dueling each other.

Another fun fact, cutting off anakins limbs using CGI was proving way too expensive, so haden christiansen volunteered to have his limbs cut off and fall into a volcano to save on budget, true method actor right there

On the Dooku fight, it’s important to remember that in the original cut of the movie the crash landing scene is 1.5 HOURS into the movie, they had to cut an hour of runtime there.

My favorite part was the spin but the thing I loved most was How obi wan adapted and learned from his duels and other duels. It looked like Anakin wanted to do the same maneuver he used on dooku but obi wan countered it. Likely Anakin told obi wan on the ride to the senate building after saving palpatine how he did it

There were stunt doubles. When they both got knocked away using a Force Push, the guys landing were the stuntmen. Along with the flips and rolls when they were on the table.

I had a feeling about the first one because I've ever seen during I think it was an interview with The Tonight Show where I think it was Ewan McGregor who was on the show and he was showing a clip of that amazing duel but from before all the CGI was put in there so it was just Hayden Christensen and Ewan McGregor basically pointing plastic swords at each other and coordinating everything they would do. I don't know if he was serious about this but I remember hearing Ewan McGregor say during the interview on The Tonight Show that he and Hayden Christensen would actually make lightsaber sounds themselves during the takes😂

They actually did use a stunt double. When Anakin and Obi Wan force pushed each other apart you can see Anakins double hit the console.

did you know during the fight Christopher Lee told George thats not the sound someone makes when they get their head cut off with a sword. Being at the end of a long day an exhaust George said "We get it, you were a spy in WW2. Can we just finish the scene?" Christopher then stared at him for 30 seconds and quietly said "fine."
